Hunts are conducted in Prince William Sound in unit 6 along the rugged coastline of the southern Chugach Mountains. These big salmon-fed Bears are just coming out of hibernation & have the best hide quality on the planet. Cruising the coastal shorelines and glassing the tidal flats produce plenty of opportunities. This area has one of the highest Bear populations in the state. Bears typically range between 6' - 7' square, with some record book Bears available. Transportation and accommodations are aboard our live-aboard vessels. Large boars with perfect hides are the norm, & this is how a Black Bear hunt should be! Dine on fresh seafood such as Halibut, Rockfish, & Shrimp that you catch during your trip. Fall hunts can be combined with Sitka Blacktail Deer, Sea Ducks, & Silver Salmon.
