Alaskan Mountain Goat

Hunts are conducted in the alpine & glacier country of unit 6, upon our federal special use permit. We recently acquired another permit in this area, so we now have access to a huge population of Goats. We typically glass Goats above the treeline from the saltwater, then formulate a stalk. It is rough, rugged, absolutely beautiful terrain. A 3,500'+ vertical climb is required in some situations, so physical fitness & leg / knee strength are requirements for success. Goats typically range between 8.5"-10.5", with some record book Billies available. These Goats have hair quality that is unsurpassed anywhere in the country! Vessel transportation and accommodations are aboard our live-aboard vessels. These hunts are regulated by a limited quota registration so the harvest is always low, & it keeps the trophy quality high. Alaska is the only state in the US with guaranteed Goat tags, so come get your long-haired Billy! Goats are the pinnacle of mountian hunting, & the best deal in big game right now! Combo your hunt with Sea Ducks & Divers such as; Harlequin, Scoters, Oldsquaw, Mergansers, & Goldeneye! Other combo options include; Black Bear, Sitka Blacktail Deer, & Silver Salmon.
