Alaskan Dall Sheep

Hunts are conducted in unit 13 within the Chugach Mountains. This hunt went to a draw in 2007, which was music to our ears! These Rams will now gain the age & mass to become giants!  Both non-residents & residents alike have to draw for this area, which creates a first class hunt for unpressured Rams. Application deadline is December 31st for this hunt, and we handle all the paperwork. Unlike other outfitters, we can maximize your chances of drawing by utilizing all 3 of your hunt choices within the famed Chugach & TOK units. There is no doubt that this is your best bet for harvesting a trophy Ram that could break the majic 170" mark. Alaska has approved a point system to be implimented by 2011, so do not miss the opportunity to get in on the ground floor with point #1.

We hunt from strategically placed spike camps via Super Cub aircraft where we find good Rams in the pre-season. This backpack hunt allows us to cover a lot of ground with only minimal weight on our backs. Physical fitness & leg / knee strength are a must, as you should expect to put a lot of miles on your feet in rugged mountain terrain searching for full curl Rams. If you are in good physical condition, your chances for success are excellent. Rams typically range between 36"-39", with top-end Rams going 40"+. You need to apply for this area while the draw odds are still 5 times better than the other famed units of Alaska. Come start your Grand Slam with a great White Sheep!
