With the decline of Mule Deer in our hunt area, we are currently only booking these hunts for other outfitters who have the right properties leased in the right units. In our case it did us no favors by banning hounds for Mountain Lions, & also the reintroduction of Wolves that are now crossing the border from Idaho. The only way we feel right about booking these hunts, is to set you up with another guide on the right ranch that still has good numbers & genetics. The only exeption to this rule, is if you are holding a statewide Auction or Raffle tag with plenty of room to roam!
We can also book hunts for the rare Columbian Blacktail, & Columbian Whitetail
. These hunts are currently producing some exceptional trophies, but the tags are very limited & hard to obtain. The Columbia Blacktail is a species required to harvest your North American 29, & should be on your list either way. Oregon is also the only place on the planet with the Columbia Whitetail, so this species is also in very high demand. Contact us regarding questions on any of Oregon's Deer species.
