Sea Duck, Sitka Blacktail Deer, & Furbearer combo

admin_logoThis is a unique trip where the hardy hunter can brave the elements to harvest the rare species of Sea Ducks & Sitka Deer available. This is mainly a waterfowl collectors dream hunt, with optional days for hunting Sitka Blacktail Deer non-guided too. Common Sea Ducks & Divers include; Harlequin, Oldsquaw, Surf Scoter, White Winged Scoter, Black Scoter, Common & Red Breasted Mergansers, Common & Barrows Goldeneye, Bufflehead, & Blue Bill. These fowl are in full plumage, & they make impressive taxidermy mounts to say the least. We have partnered with veteran Sea Duck guide Tim Bouchard to accommodate these wildfowl trips! Between the two of us we have a fleet of boats & mountains of decoys to ensure your success for all the desired species!

Sitka Blacktail Deer are required for the North American 29 of Big Game, and the remote islands of PWS hold healthy populations of this rare ungulate species only located in Alaska. Genetically we do not get a lot of giant bucks in our area, but you can still harvest a good specimen & ‘check it off the trophy list’. Hunts are typically conducted in November & December, although we can also recommend an early season ‘cast & blast’ trip for serious hunters willing to climb to the Alpine for this unique little Deer.

On our late season hunts, you can also accompany us on the trapline for elusive furbearers such as; Wolverine, River Otter, Lynx, Marten, Mink, & Coyote. These are vessel based hunts, comfortably taking you to the middle of nowhere by day & returning back to a warm bed & hot shower by night!
